We sold our house… and don’t know what’s next

Aug 3, 2026

My husband and I just did something a little wild.

We sold our house of 10 years.

It went on the market last April… and closed three weeks later.

We sold it fully furnished, packed up what we need into our RAV4, and moved the rest into a 10×10 storage unit.

And now?

We don’t know where we’re moving next.

For someone like me (who loves structure, planning, and a sense of control) this is stretching me in a big way.

It’s uncomfortable.
It’s uncertain.

And honestly… it’s also exciting.

Because one thing I’ve learned through coaching is this:

Flexibility can take you really far.

And the willingness to step into change, even when it feels messy, is where growth actually happens.

Right now, I’m getting a real-time reminder of what many of my clients experience.

That feeling of:

“I know I want something different… but this is uncomfortable.”

Whether it’s changing your routines, your systems, your home, or how you show up in your life, change asks something of you.

It asks you to let go of what’s familiar.
To try something new.
To trust yourself a little more.

And that’s not always easy.

But it can also lead to so much clarity, growth, and goodness.

So if you’re in a season where you know something needs to shift — but you’re not sure how to follow through…

You don’t have to do it alone.

This is exactly the kind of work I support my clients through.

If you’re ready for change and want someone to help you stay grounded and accountable through it, I’d love to work with you.

For now, our plan is to Airbnb hop for a few months — giving ourselves the space to explore, test out different places, and figure out where we truly want to land next.

No rush. Just intention.

Here’s to doing brave things — even when we don’t have it all figured out.
